Frances E. Huber, age 89, of Sandusky, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at McKenzie Memorial Hospital in Sandusky.

Frances was born April 13, 1928 in Saginaw, daughter of the late William and Lydia (Keinath) Heinlein. She married Victor F. Huber June 18, 1949 in Frankentrost, Michigan and they were married until his passing on December 24, 2001. Frances was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Sandusky. She was an avid seamstress and made her own wedding dress and several bridesmaid dresses. Frances enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading and bird watching.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Paula) Huber; four granddaughters, Kate (Scott) Irwin, Erin (Mike) Moore, Molly (Zach) Thurneau and Abbey (Zack) Bowerman; six great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Adalynn and Malorie Moore, Avery and Jonah Irwin, and Carter Bowerman and one sister, Mildred (Bob) Kendall.

Frances was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard and Roy Heinlein.

A Funeral service took place at Peace Lutheran Church in Sandusky, with Reverend Richard Tino officiating.

Burial took place in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
